Argentina's plans to join BRICS to translate into life - Russian senator

BUENOS AIRES, November 12. /TASS/. Speaker of the upper house of Russian parliament, Valentina Matviyenko believes Argentina's plans to join BRICS will translate into life. Matviyenko, who is making a tour of Latin American nations at the head of a parliamentary delegation, said on Thursday after a meeting with Argentine President Cristina de Kirchner, said the President has spoken in favor of her country's plans to join BRICS. "She (De Kirchner -- TASS) said this would be BRICSA, not BRICS," she indicated. "Argentina is highly interested in the BRICSA format turning into reality and I think this intention will take practical shape," Matviyenko said in an answer to a question from TASS. Read more
