Argentine FM visits SOCAR

Baku, July 3 (AzerTAc). SOCAR vice-president for Investments and Marketing Elshad Nasirov has received today an Argentine delegation led by minister of foreign affairs Hector Timerman. During the meeting, Mr. Nasirov spoke of Azerbaijan`s current development processes, saying “oil and gas industry plays an important role in this development”. The Argentine FM stressed “the ties between the oil and gas rich country Azerbaijan, which has strong economic potential and Argentina, are rapidly developing in all fields”. The SOCAR vice-president highlighted the role of reciprocal visits in widening and deepening the relations between the two countries. Nasirov praised contributions of Azerbaijan to the world oil industry. He gave detailed information on global and regional oil and gas projects conducted in Azerbaijan. Timerman expressed confidence in further development of relations between Azerbaijan and Argentina.
