Armenia offers helping hand to flood-hit Iranians

Tehran, March 27, IRNA – Armenia has expressed readiness for supplying urgent needs to flood-hit people across Iran. 'I was deeply shocked by the news of a severe flooding in Iran which claimed the lives of dozens of people,'Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on his Twitter page on Tuesday. During the past week, unprecedented heavy rains and flash floods have hit various parts of Iran. At least 19 people were killed and scores more were injured and displaced. 'At this difficult moment, #Armenia is ready to support the friendly people of #Iran and provide the necessary assistance to overcome the consequences of the disaster,' he said.
