Army Chief of Staff, His French Counterpart Discuss Strengthening Military Relations Between The Two Countries

Baghdad (NINA) - Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah discussed with his French counterpart ways to strengthen military relations between the two countries. A statement by his office stated that Yarallah received a phone call from his French counterpart, during which they discussed a number of important axes, including the emphasis on the distinguished relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them, and the French side’s continuing support and development of the Iraqi army’s capabilities through the NATO mission in Iraq and cooperation between the two countries. The French Army Chief of Staff expressed his desire to visit Iraq soon.
