Arrangements for Islamic Triathlon Championship in Full Swing

Doha , March 18 (QNA) -Arrangements for the 15th edition of Islamic Triathlon Championship are now in full swing and completed Tuesday . To be held on March 22, 2014, the championship competitions will run under the supervision of the QOC in collaboration with Qatar Shooting and Archery Federation (QSAF), Qatar Swimming Association (QSA) and Qatar Endurance Committee (QEC). The meeting was attended by Mohammad Essa Al Fadalah, the Championship Executive Director and the representatives of QSA, QSAF, QEC, Coasts and Borders Security Department and South Security. Al Fadalah announced that the competitions will begin with the Endurance race that is scheduled at the Marathon Village in Sealine, followed by the Swimming event to be held also in Sealine and Shooting event will take place at the QOC annual winter camp (Al- Ennah). Al Fadalah added that the technical meeting of the event will be held on Friday, March 21 after the arrival of all participants as the championship will feature the participation of athletes from Yemen, Egypt, Palestine, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.(QNA)
