Asia Pacific and Arab news agencies to make vocational cooperation

DOHA (A.A) - November 22, 2011 - Asia Pacific and Arab news agencies decided on Tuesday to make vocational cooperation. The Organization of Asia Pacific News Agencies (OANA) and Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA) signed a cooperation agreement in Doha, Qatar. Anadolu Agency (AA) Director General Kemal Ozturk, who is also the current president of OANA, put his signature under the agreement. The other signatory was Qatari New Agency's Director General Ahmed Saad Al Buanain. The agreement envisages vocational cooperation and assistance between the two associations, and participation of two representatives in each other's meetings. Moreover, the agreement foresees invitation of reporters, photo reporters, cameramen and technical personnel to vocational courses and conferences.
