Asian passenger caught with forged credit cards in his possession

Manama, July 22 (BNA): An Asian passenger coming from a GCC country was arrested at Bahrain International Airport with many forged credit cards in his possession to use while in Bahrain. The Director General of the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security said the directorate received a notification from the Air Exits Customs Directorate on a passenger with electronic equipment and smart phones in his possession which are suspected to be used in forging credit cards. The passenger was inspected and many credit cards were found in his possession which had been used in many fraud operations in many GCC countries before arriving in Bahrain. The Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security Director General said legal procedures were taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
