Assistant foreign minister receives Saudi ambassador

Manama, Aug. 7 (BNA): Assistant Foreign Minister, Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabur Al Doseri, today received in his office at the General Court of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmalik Al Shaikh.

The Assistant Foreign Minister welcomed the Saudi Ambassador, hailing the deep brotherly relations between the two countries and affirming Bahrain’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia against any external interference in its internal affairs or any attempts to undermine its sovereignty.

He also reiterated Bahrain‘s absolute support for the measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia response to the statements made by the Canadian Foreign Minister and the Canadian Embassy in Riyadh, noting the important role the Kingdom plays in maintaining security and stability at the regional and global levels.

Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmalik Al Shaikh stressed the deep-rooted historical ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
