Astana hosts meeting of heads of CIS tax investigation agencies

Minsk, October 2, AZERTAC. The 17th meeting of the Council of Heads of Tax (Financial) Investigation Agencies of the CIS member states was held in Astana, Kazakhstan, AZETRAC learnt from the Minsk-based CIS Executive Committee. Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee Konysbek Zhussupbekov made a welcome speech at the meeting. The discussions focused on the implementation of decisions taken at the previous meeting, the activities of tax (financial) investigation agencies of the CIS countries to ensure the economic security, the strengthening of cooperation in terms of further economic integration. The agenda also included issues related to mechanisms of cooperation and coordination in the fight against violations of the tax (financial) legislation between the Council and other bodies.
