AUSTRALIA-MONGOLIA FRIENDSHIP GROUP ESTABLISHED

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ An Australia-Mongolia friendship group officially has been established at parliament of Australia. This group has 22 members of the Senate and the House of Representatives such as Stephen Parry, the president of the Senate; Bronwyn Bishop, the Speaker of the House of Representatives; and Warren Truss, the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development. A chairwoman of the Sub-committee on aid and foreign policy at parliamentary joint Standing committee on foreign policy, defense and trade Ms Sharman Stone has been selected the friendship group’s leader. The group also includes ten members of the Liberal National Party (LNP), nine of the Australian Labour Party (ALP), and three of the National Party. Moreover, the included are also six MPs elected from Queensland, New South Wales each, four MPs from Western Australia, three MPs from Victoria, two MPs from Tasmania and one MP from South Australia State.
