Author and journalist Mr Nicholas Kralev visits Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A former assistant to four U.S. Secretaries of State, and author, journalist, and entrepreneur Mr Nicholas Kralev visited Mongolia on March 22-25 to discuss journalism and diplomacy with Ministry of Foreign Affairs, university students, journalists and general public, the US Embassy’s website has published. Starting his visit with a dinner with the Mongolian Association of State Alumni members on the day of his arrival, Mr Kralev met with the U.S. Embassy officers and held a brown bag on Diplomacy the next day. On March 23, he conducted media training with the media teams’ members of the U.S., UK, Japanese, and Czech Embassy in Mongolia, and met with administrators and faculty of the National University of Mongolia’s (NUM) School of Foreign Service and gave the talk on the impact of American diplomacy in the 21st century. Wrapping up the day, Mr Kralev gave a public talk at the American corner in Ulaanbaatar. On the third day of his visit, Mr Kralev met with administrators of the Graduate School of the University of Humanities’ School of Foreign Service and gave a talk titled, “The Impact of American Diplomacy in the 21st Century”. Also on March 24, meeting with the administrators, faculty and students of the NUM and the University of Humanities and gave a talk titled, “Journalism, Government and Public Policy”. On March 25, he visited the NUM Business Consulting Center and gave a talk titled “Know Thyself: Rethinking Corporate Identity, Values and Soul” and a presentation titled “Media Responsibility in Public Policy” at the Press Institute of Mongolia. Wrapping up his visit, Mr Kralev met with Ambassador Mr Bekhbat and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials and made a presentation titled “Challenges of Diplomatic Practice and Training”.
