Authority:Thai Embassy in Libya operates as usual

BANGKOK, August 4 (TNA) - An authority at the army-led National Council for Peace and Order(NCPO) has confirmed that the Thai Embassy to Libya operates as usual. An NCPO deputy chief, General Tanasak Patimapragorn, who is also Thai Supreme Commander, told journalists on Monday that the Thai Embassy in Tripoli, Libya's capital, was not attacked as reported. The NCPO deputy chief also affirmed that staffs of Thailand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Labour can be contacted and they have followed procedures for the evacuation of Thai nationals from the civil war-riddled nation.
