Azad Rahimov: Initiatives and proposals of youth may contribute to addressing global challenges

Baku, April 25, AZERTAC Azerbaijani Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov has said initiatives and proposals of youth may contribute to addressing global challenges. He addressed the Youth Event of the 7th UNAOC Global Forum, which has got underway in Baku. The Minister noted the role of youth in encouraging such values as multiculturalism, dialogue and tolerance. “This takes an unprecedented topicality as today we see growing terrorist threat across the globe.” “Unfortunately the international community is failing to address this evil,” said Mr Rahimov, mentioning the continuing occupation by Armenia of 20 per cent of Azerbaijan`s lands as an example.
