Azerbaijan, Council of Europe discuss cooperation

Baku, October 30, AZERTAC Azerbaijan`s Minister of Internal Affairs Ramil Usubov has met European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment George Tugushi. The Minister said Azerbaijan and the Council of Europe have enjoyed very fruitful and business relations. Mr. Usubov highlighted the socio-political developments after the country gained its state independence, the enormous efforts the national leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev made for construction of legal-democratic state, the socio-economic reforms conducted under his leadership, as well as the reforms in the legal-enforcement bodies to establish stability in the country. "The successful reforms are carried out in Azerbaijan thanks to President Ilham Aliyev." George Tugushi, in turn highlighted the importance of cooperation.
