Azerbaijan, Iran discuss prospects for cooperation in banking sector

Baku, November 14, AzerTAc Azerbaijan and Iran have explored ways of developing the bilateral cooperation in the banking sector as chairman of the Central Bank Elman Rustamov met Iranian counterpart Valiollah Seif. They discussed financial and banking issues, as well as memorandums of understanding signed between the two countries as part of the Iranian President`s official visit to Azerbaijan. Mr Rustamov hailed development of economic relations between the two countries, including cooperation in the banking sector. He highlighted Azerbaijan`s economic achievements. Mr Seif hailed what has been done to improve the financial and banking sector of Azerbaijan.
