Azerbaijan Railways to purchase 10 new locomotives

Baku, August 3, AZERTAC Azerbaijan Railways plans to purchase new passenger and cargo locomotives, said the head of Azerbaijan Railways CSC Javid Gurbanov at the ceremony held on test of container train "Nomand Express". He said in this regard, negotiations are being conducted with several European countries, including Spain, Czech: "Azerbaijan plans to purchase 50 locomotives for cargo transportation, 10 locomotives for passenger transportation", he emphasized.
