Azerbaijan, Ukraine`s Lviv region discuss cooperation prospects

Kyiv, December 31 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to Ukraine Eynulla Madatli visited Lviv region of Ukraine. The Ambassador met with the head of Lviv Regional State Administration M.Kostyuk and Mayor of Lviv city A.Sadovoy. The sides discussed expansion of scientific, cultural, economic relations between Azerbaijan and Lviv region. Representatives of Lviv region briefed the Ambassador on investment opportunities in the region, particularly in health resorts and tourism sphere. They pointed out that Azerbaijani investors` contributions could deepen ties between the sides. Then, one of the founders of the Lviv State University of Physical Culture, Professor Mammad Jafarov was presented with “Honored Master of Physical Culture and Sports” Diploma and decoration in accordance with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev`s order. M.Jafarov`s activities contributed to the development of sports and physical culture in Ukraine and Azerbaijan. E.Madatli also met with the representatives of Azerbaijani community in Lviv s part of the visit.
