Azerbaijani Defense Ministry: Armenia spreads disinformation over downed Mi-24 helicopter

Baku, Azerbaijan, Nov.23 By Javid Tahirli - Trend: The hype about the shot down of Armenian military helicopter over occupied territories of Azerbaijan, raised by Armenian military-political regime linked to the fact that the enemy is trying to attract international attention and calms its people. According to the press service of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan, the Armenian side is steadily spreading disinformation to confuse the facts, trying to find a justification for its actions. "Azerbaijani Defense Ministry once again informs that the information about the removal of the remains of the crew members and some parts of the helicopter, as well as a special operation held for this purpose by the Armenian side, which has been disseminated by the Armenian media is fiction and has no basis. This information is intended to divert the attention of the Armenian people", the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan' statement says. "Quite the reverse, enemy party is trying to involve to the issue some international organizations by sabotage commitment and keeping tensity at the territory where the helicopter has been downed. From the very first day Azerbaijani side has not been taking any actions in order to get any remains of the helicopter or its crew. We state that these territories are totally under control of armed forces and strongly reject fabricated, absurd and unfounded thoughts of the enemy part about "holding a special operation" in this area," - the ministry's statement says. The video materials given by Armenian side are expertly prepared, very good video montage, aviation flights military specialists told Trend. It is hard to imagine, in which condition the pilots' remains have been transferred to families. According to aviation flights military specialists, it is technically, physically and theoretically impossible to demonstrate the remains to the public. So, a body which fell from an 11 ton helicopter, which hit the ground with a speed of 250 kilometers per hour, is technically impossible to be demonstrated as it was in the video. Human body parts have strong deformation while burning. So, a human death is impossible in way which was demonstrated in the video with a "crew member". For sure, autopsists with some knowledge can prove it, experts say. According to specialists, a demonstrated uniform of the helicopter crew is suspicious and raises some questions. "Demonstrated frames of parachute remains are perceived ambiguous and not serious by aviation specialists. In a technical point of view getting decision by a crew of the helicopter which was downed by "Igla" anti-aircraft missile system, being burned in 3-4 seconds, fell to the ground and collapsed, its preparation, jump, and so on in a way, demonstrated by Armenians, is practically, physically and theoretically impossible. Quickly flammable parachute which has been made of quickly burning caprone is suspicious in a way demonstrated by Armenians. So, only conclusion can be made - photo- and videoframes represented by Armenians have nothing in common with the helicopter incident," - experts mentioned. Follow us on Twitter @TRENDNewsAgency
