Azerbaijani films demonstrated in Ashgabat

Ashgabat, November 17, AzerTAc Azerbaijani feature films, "Arshin mal alan" (The Cloth Pedlar), "In a Southern city" (“Bir Cənub şəhərində”) and "Do not be afraid, I am with you" (“Qorxma, mən səninləyəm”), were shown on promotion of the Azerbaijani cultural heritage and recognition of the national cinema art, organized by Azerbaijan Embassy and Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan. Before the demonstration, Azerbaijani Ambassador to this country Vahdat Sultanzade informed about the history and current development of the national cinema. He said that, Heydar Aliyev Foundation projects have made significant contribution to the development of this field in recent years. The diplomat noted the role of the cultural relations to bring closer the two countries. Azerbaijan films were received by the public with interest.
