Azerbaijani mugham admires French

Baku, February 11 (AzerTAc). An Azerbaijani house acting in France on Saturday hosted an event on Azerbaijan`s mugham in Lyon city. Organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and International Mugham Center, the event takes place as part of the 3rd international mugham festival. Addressing the event, head of the Azerbaijan House in Paris Mirvari Fataliyeva briefed the participants on Azerbaijan`s rich culture, as well as its mugham musical genre. The event featured demonstration of Azerbaijan`s mugham by the country`s artists which included to the UNESCO list of masterpieces of oral and intangible heritage. The concert aroused keen interest in the participants.
