Azerbaijani Premier meets delegation attending the ceremony to meet first container on Trans-Caspian international transport route

Baku, August 3, AZERTAC Azerbaijani Prime Minister Artur Rasizade has today met a delegation which attended the ceremony to meet the first container that arrived at Baku (Alat) International Sea Trade Port from China as part of the Trans-Caspian international transport project. Members of the delegation included President of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Askar Mamin, Director of Georgian Railways Mamuke Bakhtadze and Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways Javid Gurbanov. They informed the Premier about the project. Rasizade praised the project, saying the commissioning of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway will considerably increase the export and transit potential. Deputy Premier Abid Sharifov was also present at the meeting.
