Azerbaijani president and his spouse attend opening of Boyukshor boulevard and park

Baku, Azerbaijan, May 22 Trend: President Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening of Boyukshor boulevard and park on May 22. The president and his spouse first viewed a stand highlighting the work accomplished under the project of restoration of Lake Boyukshor. Then President Aliyev cut the ribbon symbolizing the official inauguration of Boyukshor boulevard and park. Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev informed the president and his wife of what has been done under the project. It was said that oil-polluted lands in the area of the boulevard and park were cleaned. The area of land reclamation work is more than 15 hectares. A sports ground and children’s playground were created here. Fountains were installed in the lake. President Aliyev and his spouse toured the boulevard and park.
