Azerbaijani President attends opening of new commissioned road in Astara

Azerbaijan, Baku, Sept. 6 / Trend / President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Archivan-Shuvi-Alasha-Gapichimahalla road in Astara region. The Head of State cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the road. President Ilham Aliyev was informed that according to a relevant Order dated 15 July 2013, a total of 3.3 million manats were allocated for the construction of the Archivan-Shuvi-Alasha-Gapichimahalla and Siyaku-Rineroads. The construction of the Archivan-Shuvi-Alasha-Gapichimahalla road worth 2,680 million manats was launched in April of this year and was completed a few days ago. The road is 13.5 km long, while the width of the asphalted carriageway is 6 meters wide. The road has one bridge and 20 drainage systems.
