Azerbaijani President familiarizes with conditions in Astara region Central Hospital after overhaul

Azerbaijan, Baku, Sept. 6 / Trend / President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev officially opened Astara region Central Hospital. The Head of the State inspected the conditions created at the hospital, and then met the local residents. Doctor Ayten Shiriyeva expressed gratitude to the Head of the State on behalf of Astara residents for his attention to development of the region. Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev informed the President on reconstruction of the hospital, which started in May, 2012 and ended this August. About 2 million manats were allocated from the President's Reserve Fund for the reconstruction of the hospital. The Head of the State was told that the facility was provided with modern equipment.
