Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev meets Kyrgyz counterpart

Baku, December 21 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with the President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev on Tuesday as part of his visit to Moscow. The Head of State congratulated Almazbek Atambayev on his election as President of Kyrgyzstan, wished him every success in further activities. President Ilham Aliyev pointed out existence of good prospects for relations between the two countries, adding the sides will always support each other. Almazbek Atambayev, in turn, recalled Heydar Aliyev`s merits, underlining that the incumbent president Ilham Aliyev is worthy successor of him. Kyrgyz President stressed he was eyewitness of great changes in Baku. President Ilham Aliyev spoke of opportunities to expand economic cooperation and humanitarian relations, adding relations between the two countries were developing steadily. The Head of State invited Kyrgyz President to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan what was willingly accepted.
