Azerbaijani President receives OIC Secretary General

Baku, November 25 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today received Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu. The OIC Secretary General congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on his re-election. Mr Ihsanoglu said the OIC observer mission praised the Azerbaijani presidential election as free, transparent and democratic. The OIC Secretary General stressed Azerbaijan`s role as an active member of OIC, hailing the country`s support of the organization`s projects. They expressed confidence that Azerbaijan-OIC cooperation would further enhance.
