Azerbaijani, Russian internal affairs bodies discuss prospects for strengthening relations

Baku, September 19, AZERTAC Azerbaijan`s Minister of Internal Affairs Ramil Usubov has met with chief of the Central Administration for Russia’s Internal Affairs of the City of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast Sergey Umnov to discuss prospects for strengthening relations between the two counties` law enforcement authorities. Usubov stressed the necessity of developing neighborly and strategic partnership even more. The minister said Azerbaijan pays special attention to strengthening relations with Russia`s internal affairs, including the Central Administration for Russia’s Internal Affairs of the City of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast in staff training and exchange of information and experience. Umnov said that leadership of the administration is also interested in deepening cooperation with Azerbaijan`s internal affairs ministry. He expressed his confidence that this visit will give impetus to this process.
