Azerbaijani songwriter becomes laureate in International Song Contest “PentaTON” Kiev, April 22 (AzerTAc). The Azerbaijan songwriter, student of 9th class of Bulbul Musical School, Ali Mammadov became laureate in the nomination for compositional art in the International Song Contest "PentaTON" in Nikolayev city, Ukraine. The international Song Contest was organized by regional branch of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine and Nikolayev Oblast State Administration. The Azerbaijani songwriter presented his own works "Romance", the words by Taras Shevchenko, a "Prelude" and suite "Red Peter Ukraine" (4 parts) and brilliantly played them on the piano.
