Azerbaijan`s Central Scientific Library and National Library of Catalonia clinch cooperation deal

Baku, November 10 (AzerTAc). The Central Scientific library of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and the National Library of Catalonia have signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed during a visit of director of the Central Scientific library, Aybaniz Aliyeva-Kangarli to Barcelona. The agreement provides for expansion of bilateral relations and exchange of books. The National Library of Catalonia was founded in 1907 as the library of the Institut d`Estudis Catalans. It was opened to the public in 1914. The facility has about three million items.
