BACA president meets Japanese envoy

Manama, June4 (BNA): Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa received Japanese Ambassador to Manama Hideki Ito and discussed joint cooperation.  The meeting was attended by a delegation representing the department of cultural cooperation at the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  BACA President hailed the level of cultural cooperation between Bahrain and Japan, hailing Japanese marked presence in the Kingdom’s cultural life.  The two sides reviewed aspects of cooperation to conserve heritage. The Japanese envoy stressed readiness to work BACA officials to build bridges of cooperation between the two countries.
