BACA president receives ambassador

Manama, Oct. 4 (BNA): President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa received here today the newly-appointed Bahraini Ambassador to Belgium Dr. Bahiya Al-Jishi. The meeting focused on ways to enhance cultural exchange between the two kingdoms, and means to highlight Bahrain's civilisational aspects through cultural presence across the world. Shaikha Mai stressed the importance of the complementarity between diplomatic and cultural works in consolidating the kingdom's international presence, given the facts that culture is a soft power, and the kingdom has a lot to a lot to be proud of regarding its rich civilisational achievements and human legacy. Dr. Al-Jishi praised the efforts of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, affirming her desire to cooperate with it in order to promote Bahrain's culture globally.
