Bahrain’s ambassador to Spain presents credentials

Madrid, Apr. 29 (BNA): Bahrain's Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, has presented a copy of his credentials as a Non-Resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Spain. This came during the Ambassador’s meeting with officials from the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain, where he attended a luncheon hosted by His Excellency Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Mr. Ignacio Ybanez Rubio. The meeting reviewed relations between the two countries and means to strengthen them in all fields, in addition to developing the existing cooperation to achieve the common interests of the two countries and their peoples. Shaikh Fawaz also met officials in the Spanish Foreign Ministry, and discussed with them political, economic and security, as well as regional and international issues of common interest. The Ambassador reiterated that the strategic partnership between the governments of the two countries is the main pillar of the existing cooperation between them, expressing hope that bilateral partnership will continue at all levels.
