Bahrain ambassador to Sri Lanka presents credentials

Colombo, May 2 (BNA): Bahrain’s Ambassador to India Tariq bin Mubarak bin Daina has conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to the Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena. He also conveyed to him their best wishes of further progress and prosperity to the Sri Lankan government and people. Ambassador bin Daina presented copies of his credentials to the Sri Lankan President as a New Delhi-Resident plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. President Maithripala Sirisena expressed good wishes for HM the King, and the Bahrain government and people. He wished the ambassador every success in assuming his diplomatic duties and serving the existing bilateral relations. He stressed the need to further consolidate the friendly Bahrain-Sri Lanka ties in order to achieve common interests.
