Bahrain attends AIPS Congress

Paris, Mar3(BNA) A delegation representing the Bahrain Journalist Association (BJA) arrived in France to attend the International Sports Press Association (AIPS) Congress. The international conference, opened on Monday, will run until Friday at the Louvre Museum in Paris amid large participation from all over the world. Led by (BJA) Sport Media Committee Chairman Mohammed Qassim, the delegation attended bilateral meetings and workshops as part of efforts to bolster relations with other countries in the world and win their backing to host conferences, courses and forums as part of the 2015 workplan. The BJA sport media committee is also scheduled to take part in the periodic meeting of the Asian Sport Media Union on the sidelines of the AIPS 2015 Congress. AIPS Women’s Committee member Fatima Al-Sakran participated in the panel’s periodic meetings which focused on ways of bolstering women’s presence at different international sport bodies.
