Bahrain Bar Society condemns Karranah terror blast

Manama, Aug. 29 (BNA): The Bahrain Bar Society (BBS) has condemned the terror blast which occurred last night in the village of Karranah, resulting in the martyrdom of a policeman, and the wounding of four security personnel, one of them seriously, and some citizens, including a child. "Terrorism is a blind criminal act that does not discriminate between the elderly, children, security personnel or civilians," BBS Chairperson Huda Rashid Al-Mahza said in a statement, stressing that the blast the perpetrators who targeted innocent people without distinction do not belong to Bahrain, which has always been a land of tolerance and co-existence among all religions and sects, and embraced people from all over the world. BBS Chairperson lauded the efforts of the Interior Ministry and all its bodies, led by the Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and the brave security personnel who make sacrifices for the sake of the nation. She called on the Bahraini people to denounce the criminals and support the security authorities by informing about whoever suspected of having terror links in order to bring them to justice, stressing that terrorism targets all, without distinction, and therefore, it should be confronted by all using all possible means.
