Bahrain chairs GCC ambassadors’ meeting in Geneva

Geneva, Apr.8 (BNA): The ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States today held their regular meeting in Geneva under the chairmanship of the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Geneva and Chair of the current GCC Session, Dr. Yusef Abdul Karim Bucheeri. The ambassadors discussed several issues relating to coordination of GCC joint action and ways to reinforce their coordination at the various international organizations in Geneva. They particularly focused on coordination vis-à-vis the Human Rights Council, the GCC regular sessions, the meetings of the team concerned with the universal periodic review , the World Trade Organization (WTO) and arrangements for diplomatic gatherings and international and multilateral conferences in the coming period.
