Bahrain condemns Al-Quds hospital bombing in Aleppo

Manama, Apr.30 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemns the brutal bombing that targeted Al Quds hospital in Aleppo, Syria, resulting in the killing and wounding of dozens of people. The Foreign Ministry stresses that all parties need to adhere to the agreement of cessation of hostilities which was reached on 27th of February, and to ensure the establishment of calm and pave the way to a political settlement. The Foreign Ministry expresses deep concerns regarding the serious escalation and severe deterioration in conditions in Aleppo. The Foreign Ministry calls on the international community to provide all necessary means of assistance to deliver essential services and facilitate passing of humanitarian aid for the Syrian people. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also calls on intensifying efforts to stop the violence and to ensure adherence to the cease-fire and the implementation of the UN resolution 2254, which aims to ensuring stopping the bloodshed and leading to a political solution to the Syrian situation. .
