Bahrain condemns Baghdad's terrorist blast

Manama, May 24 (BNA): Bahrain has condemned the terrorist blast, which targeted a family park in Baghdad’s Shula district, and led to the death and injury of a number of people. The Foreign Affairs Ministry expressed its condolences to the families and relatives of the victims, wishing speedy recovery to the injured in this terrorist act that targeted the innocents and spread panic. The ministry affirmed that Bahrain supports Iraq in all measures it may take to restore peace and security. It also reiterated the firm position of the Kingdom that rejects all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism and calls for concerted international efforts to combat this dangerous plague and its supporters and funders.
