Bahrain condemns Dammam terrorist explosion

Manama, May 29 (BNA): Bahrain has condemned the terrorist attack that targeted Al Anoud mosque in Dammam in Saudi Arabia, and claimed the lives of a number of innocent people. Bahrain affirmed that the terrorist act is contrary to human and moral principles, as well as the values of all divine religions and the precepts of Islam. It warned that such terrorist acts aim to ignite sectarian and religious sedition among Muslims and drag them into abhorred subversive conflicts for all. Bahrain offered its condolences to the families and relatives of the victims, and hailed the efforts of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in combating terrorism, regionally and internationally, lauding the efforts being exerted by the Saudi security forces which prevented the terrorist crime against people performing Friday prayer. The kingdom affirmed its support for the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and backing to all the steps it takes to reinforce security and stability nationwide, asserting that Saudi Arabia’s security is an integral part of the security of the Arab and Islamic nations. A united Arab stand and an international solidarity are needed to uproot terrorism, a dangerous plague that poses a threat to all countries and peoples without exception or discrimination.
