Bahrain condemns Palestinian child's murder

Manama, July 31 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the killing of Palestinian child Ali Dawabsheh and injuries to his parents and brother by Jewish assailants who set fire to their home in the occupied West Bank. "The ministry holds the Israeli government responsible for this reprehensible and horrific act as it granted impunity for the recurring and escalating settlers’ crimes against the innocent Palestinians people," the ministry said in a statement. "The ministry reiterates Bahrain’s steadfast support to all measures to be taken by the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to safeguard the Palestinians’ rights. It stresses that the continuation of settlement is in flagrant contravention of the principle of the international law, international legitimacy, and the relevant United Nations resolutions, as well as it undermines all regional and international efforts to resume peace talks and chances of a lasting peaceful settlement based on the international recognised and acceptable terms of references," the statement said.
