Bahrain condemns shooting incident in France

Manama, Mar. 23 (BNA): Bahrain has condemned the shooting incident that targeted the French police and the hostage-taking in the southern France city of Trèbes. In a statement issued , the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and its wishes of speedy recovery to the injured. “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms the solidarity of the Kingdom of Bahrain with the friendly French Republic in its efforts to combat violence, extremism and terrorism," the statement said. "It reiterates Bahrain's firm stance that rejects terrorism in all its forms and calls upon the international community to strengthen coordination and efforts to eliminate terrorism and dry up its sources of funding."
