Bahrain condemns terrorist attack in Somalia

Manama, Feb. 13 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain condemned the terrorist attack that took place near the Presidential Palace and Parliament building in Mogadishu, Federal Republic of Somalia, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of people. It expressed sincere condolences to the families of the victims, the government and the brotherly Somali people, wishing a speedy recovery for all the injured. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain's solidarity with the government of the Federal Republic of Somalia in confronting dangerous terrorist organisations, stressing its firm position that rejects all forms of extremism and terrorism. It also stressed the need for concerted efforts to combat terrorism and dry up its sources of funding.
