Bahrain condemns terrorist attacks in Munich

Manama, July 22 (BNA): Bahrain has condemned the terrorist attacks in the German city of Munich that claimed a number of innocent lives and caused injuries. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement offered condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and wishes of speedy recovery to all those injured as a result of these criminal acts that demonstrate the indiscriminating nature of terrorism that aims to kill innocent people, spread chaos and horrify nations. It reaffirmed the solidarity of Bahrain with Germany and its support to all measures it takes to maintain its security, stability, and the safety of its people and to protect its institutions and the gains of its people. It renewed the firm position of Bahrain that rejects all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism, and calls on the international community to intensify cooperation efforts to eradicate terrorism and dry up its funding resources.
