Bahrain condemns terrorist blast in Jordan

Manama, Aug. 11 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned the terrorist explosion that targeted a joint patrol conducted by the Gendarmerie and Public Security forces in Fuheis, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs presents its deep-felt condolences and consolation to the martyr's relatives and family and wishes speedy recovery to those injured in this cowardly act that was behind the martyrdom of a security man and injury of six others. The ministry affirms the Kingdom of Bahrain's full support for the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in its indefatigable efforts to combat violence and terrorism and backs all the measures it takes to reinforce security and stability. It also renews the unwavering stance of the Kingdom of Bahrain which strongly rejects all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism, irrespective of the motives or causes, and calls for concerted international cooperation to counter terrorism and dry out its funding sources.
