Bahrain congratulated on WHO honour

Manama, May 30 (BNA): Chief Executive of the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) Dr. Mariam Adhbi Al-Jalahma extended congratulations to Bahrain leadership, government and people as well as the Health Ministry personnel on electing Bahrain Vice President of the 139th session of the Executive Board of the World Health Organisation (WHO). She praised the efforts of the Bahraini delegation, led by Health Minister Faeqa Said Al Saleh, in bringing about the achievement and upholding Bahrain's image in international gatherings. She described the election as a reflection of Bahrain's advanced standing in the health field and a tribute for its outstanding contributions, alongside WHO, in mapping out international plans to combat diseases and optimise health services.
