Bahrain Embassy brings GP Fever to Washington D.C.

Washington, Apr.20 (BNA): The Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States hosted guests in celebration of the 11th Formula One race at the Sakhir Circuit in Bahrain. The event welcomed friends and family of the Embassy, as well the city's motorsport fans, to a day of festivities. The race was screened live all around the Embassy, with food and entertainment in hopes of recreating the bustling atmosphere felt on the circuit. The gripping night race led to Mercedes AMG's Lewis Hamilton first place pole position, but he was not the only winner of the night. The Embassy organized a raffle which prized one lucky guest with a trip to Disneyland with a stay at the Four Seasons Resort in Florida. "This was a great deal of fun and we are very glad to have been invited by the Embassy to share the sport we all love," Grand Prix Canada Operations Director, Bruno Savard. The Embassy extends its gratitude to the organizers of the Bahrain Grans Prix for a another successful race, and hopes to continue to welcoming the fans of DC in future races.
