Bahrain, Kuwait cooperation hailed

Kuwait, Apr.25 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister Isa bin Abdulrahman Al-Hammadi hailed strong fraternal relations bonding Bahrain and Kuwait, lauding steadily-growing political, economic and media ties. This came as he met Kuwaiti Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Shaikh Salman Sabah Salim Al-Humood Al-Sabah. Al-Hammadi is taking part in the 12th Arab Media Forum which opened under the patronage of Kuwaiti Prime Minister Shaikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. The two ministers discussed media relations and means of bolstering joint ties, stressing the importance of exchanging expertise between Bahrain News Agency (BNA) and Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), radio and television and joint programme production. Al-Hammadi underscored the importance of bolstering bilateral relations, to the benefit of the two countries’ interests, and support of the establishment of the GCC union as well as the Arab and Islamic causes. He paid tribute to the State of Kuwait for its stances in support of Bahrain’s economic and social development projects, which embodies strong bonds of fraternity between the two countries and peoples. The Kuwaiti minister stressed joint keen interest in developing cooperation and exchanging expertise in the sectors of radio and TV, publications and external information so as to further bolster fraternal relations and highlight achievements.
