Bahrain Minister of Education receives university official

Manama, July 12 (BNA): Education Minister and chairman of the Higher Education Council, Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi, received Professor Sameer Otoom, president of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI)'s Medical University of Bahrain. The minister congratulated the university on the occasion of the approval from Saudi Arabia's Higher Education Ministry for inclusion of the university's Bachelor of Human Medicine programme in the list of recommended academic programmes. Al Nuaimi praised the university's efforts to develop the level of education, stressing at the same time that Higher Education Council supports all higher education institutions to improve their performance and boost their status.
