Bahrain to participate in Climate Change Summit

Manama, Nov 26 (BNA): Parliamentary delegation has held a meeting to discuss the participation programme of the UN Climate Change Summit to be held in Paris on 5-6 December 2015. Head of the parliamentary delegation, Shura member Dr. Mohammad Ali Hassan, said the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the French Parliament are organizing the event, which will attract participants from government and non-government sectors, parliamentarians, businessmen and academics. It provides an opportunity for parliamentarians to get to know the IPU recommendations on climate change. He added that the delegation will submit its vision on Bahrain's efforts in the climate change area.
