Bahrain participates in boosting GCC-EU parliamentary relations

Manama, Apr 28 (BNA): A parliamentary delegation participated in a coordination meeting between the GCC Parliamentary Committee and European Parliament on strengthening bilateral relations. The meeting held on April 26-28 in Brussels. The Bahraini delegation also participated in a symposium on European Muslims countering extremism and the challenges to eradicate it. Bahrain's Ambassador Dr. Bahyia A-Jishi to Belgium was present. The delegation took part in another symposium on women empowerment in an unstable political world. The event was staged by the UAE Embassy in collaboration with the EU Parliament.
